Anybody able to point me to a source for UT909 Air Cleaner to Carb hose for my U. Tried using a piece of rad hose, with the spring installed which stopped it collapsing but it would pop off the carb end under full load. Unfortunately i can't order from this site due to my Canadian location.

Where are you buying radiator hoses that still have the springs inside them? We haven't been able to get them like that for years here in North Carolina.

I always just used a piece of Ford radiator hose. I don't have the part number, but it was for a truck from about the '80s.

If your spring inside is pushing the hose off, Why not just cut a turn or two off the spring?

I rescued the spring from what was left of the existing air hose. hosed it down with wd40 and slid it into a piece of rad hose i had. Everytime the tractor started working really hard the hose would attempt to collapse, but couldnt, so it would just pull off the carb.

Sounds like you might have a restriction in your air cleaner if you are colapsing the hose.
