G1355 Hydraulics

I'm having an issue with my G1355 hydraulics. At idle the hydraulics are extremely sluggish. The power steering will barely turn, 3PTH is slow going up and down, and the rear outlets won't work. If I give the tractor even just a couple of RPMs over idle the hydraulics work fine. Any ideas? The tractor has brand new hydraulic filters, breather element, and fluid.

How many hours on the hydraulic system? Does the pump get hot? Do you know how to check the case drain leakage? Do you have a 3000 PSI pressure gauge. You should also check the setting of the compensator. Do you have a book? If nothing else get yourself a shop manual for a 2255 Oliver.

Unknown hours on the tractor and hydraulic system. The pump does not get hot. I have access to a 3000PSI gauge, I don't know how to check case drain leakage.

Could be unloader valve hanging up or maybe your low idle is set to low. It keeps the system from building pressure while starting.
