zenith carb on U.. does not run right.

Mm U has a zenith carb old style and it does not run right. Idles erratic and
doesn't rev up good either. Full tune up, electronic ignition. I took one
drain plug out of the carb bowl while it was running and gas came out as I
thought it would. But it ran excellent. I even tried it again still ran
great. What should I look for? Float to low or something plugged?

needs a soaking in carb cleaner and blow out all passages with air. also check the throttle shaft bushings as those are likely worn and it will suck air and not idle good.
also a full tune up includes a carb job so not sure if you had carb overhauled or what.
