Just bought a G1000 Vista

I just bought a G1000 Vista LP today. According to the previous owner the brakes don't work and sometimes the torque doesn't work in low. Just wondering what I am in for. We have a pretty healthy herd of Allis Chalmers on the farm, this is the first Minneapolis we have ever owned, so I am new to them. I ordered operators and service manuals today, but I won't have them for a few days. Also, does the torque freewheel in Low like the older ones? I would post a picture, but I can't seem to figure out how.

Thanks in advance!

Andy

Hi there, your A/T will free wheel in low range, we have all the parts to get you going, River Dale Farms, riverdalefarmshop.com, 920 295 3278.

Its best not to run the tractor in low range until the gear oil has had a chance to warm up. If the T/A is slipping, you could also do damage by driving in low range. Parts should be available. The Vista is a unique tractor. Some cosmetic parts were designed only for the Vista. Let us know what you need. Good luck with your tractor. We have some Vista parts in Texas.
