I have a 1940 U that I use for plowing. It has some blowby and
I am going to rebuild it. I want to put some oversized aluminum
pistons in it but I can't seem to find anyone that sells them.
Any suggestions as far as what size I can go up to. I am
wanting to make more power so I can pull the three bottom
plow a little faster.

I am also building a 1938 MTA and I need standard size
aluminum pistons for it.

I have a 38 U with a one piece block that we bored to 4 1/2". The skirt was quite thin but they think it will hold. I haven't had it running yet. Just thought you might like to know what has been done before. The old block was cracked but the pistons were like new so we found a good block and bored it to fit the pistons we already had.
