G-VI Gas

I was just looking at an auction and it lists a G-VI gas, I didn't know that one of them existed I have seen LP (Propane)Gas models but not a gasoline model. my parts book only shows parts for LP Gas and Diesel models no gasoline like the parts book for the M5. If the gasoline model is correct they must be quite rare?
 
Most likely some one switched it from L P G.
A neighbor bought a new Gvi LP, changed it to gasoline as he had no LP on the farm He got a "fire sale " price on the tractor. He was happy with it.
 
I saw the pictures if it was converted from LPG they must have used a fuel tank and hood from a diesel
 
I just brought home a 1960 GVI that has been converted from LP to gas. I haven't found any factory literature either. Several sources list a MS tsx 693 as correct. Does anybody out there know the correct jet sizes for this carb? (Mine came with an incorrect carb from a Case Model L) The tank and hood do seem to be from a diesel model. Someone has rigged up a pipe from the exhaust manifold to vent hot exhaust onto the intake for some manifold preheat. It must have worked, as this tractor has lots of hours on it. Now if I could just find a good set of 23.1-26 tires...
