Here are some photos of the conversion of the power steering on my Jet from the old Moline system to a Eaton CharLynn torque generator system. Works very nicely both ways, now it should be more fun to plant with! Jack

Hi Jack, I'm glad that you posted this steering conversion. My step dad has an early M670 with the same type of setup as your JSII. I resealed the Ross control valve and checked the adjustment of the thrust bearing inside the valve about a year ago, hoping to cure the problem of power steering to the right (I think) and none to the left. After resealing, it still has that same problem. I have since read an old post on here that said that's common for this steering setup. It looks like this Eaton valve may be the answer to that problem. Will it fit the M670?

I've been trying to load more photos, would help. This conversion is for the systems that were power assist steering and may include some very early 670, most 670 I'm familiar with were full hydrostatic. That steering shaft down the side of the engine tells the tale.
