exhaust manifold

I am restoring a TC KT and need an exhaust manifold. I can get a repro KE821G manifold, but I see where the carb flange is 1 5/8, but my carb is 1 3/8. Are all the repro manifolds this way & will I have to make my carb fit?

You need manifold off a red nose U that came with TTX carb.Pre 1941. Early KT used Robin manifold.

Unless someone is reproducing them, I will never find one. I'm sure that I can make this one work. I just hate to spend that much money on a manifold & then start drilling on the carb flange to make it fit.

Actually they are more common than you realise. There was alot of KTa's and U's made. I have 10 or more but no extras. The Chinese ones aren't the best. Seen several where the carb is drilled to make work.
