Look what I found in my #3 cylinder! Not a clue of what it could

Diesel? Broken top ring? My 97, top piston ring broken on every cylinder.

Iam going to agree with Curt top ring. Did you use either? I blew the top off a piston using either. Ie broke right in the top ring gruve.

I won't say that it can't be,but Not in 3 or 4 and 1,2 and 4 had the same compression. It is a gas by the way. I didn't take the front head off.

Those two pieces look like valve keepers. Some of the others look like parts of a ring, but straightened out. But how did it get by the top of piston without breaking a piece out of the top of the piston.
