U heads

Working on a u last fall did't get heads into
machine shop till the headgasket blew on my M5 now
I am need of a set of heads. I have one set but
valves are bad ,seats ok. I have another set dont
know if they are ok yet, they have H-C on the side
. I don't think it stands for high compression
does it? So anybody got valves?

I've got a '47 UTU with the KEF engine (single block and head) that has the big "HC" on it's head and was told it meant high compression by some MM authority...former dealer I think. (getting old, CRS hits once in a while)

Yup. High compression, wont work with power fuel, or the like.
