As I work on my U302 restore I have been trying to figure out how to paint the aluminum name plates on the side of the hood. It looks like to keep the aluminum borders there would be a lot of masking needed. I thought I read a while back that someone made a decal that just covered the white background, and black letters. Does anyone have tips for painting, or know if someone sells the decals? I got the hood and fenders back from the sandblaster, and they are being prepped for paint. The blocks and heads should be ready to be picked up from the machine shop this week....so even though we are in a deep freeze I'm making some progress!
