I have a 1951 U that I been working on that has factory installed live power. What kind of maintenance I need to keep on for the live power part. The live power was rebuild early 80's after that sat in a shed till I found it.

Not sure what the other guys will tell you about the LPTO clutch, but the main thing I know from having that on a ZB is you don't want the seal between the inner and outer shafts to leak as that would soak the clutch and then you will probably have to re-line it to stop if from slipping in a hard pull.

Of course there is an adjustment on the link from the handle, but I don't have a manual to tell what that adjustment is on a U.

Search (or ask around) for your local brake/clutch shop.

I've had excellent service with mine (link below) relining clutch disks, brake shoes, etc for MM, Farmall and JD tractors. Service is prompt (sometimes even while I wait) and quality is superb.
