TEL-O-FLO repair

Unit was from a M5 that sat for quite a few years then installed on a M670 that had a broken valve spool. Leaked quite a bit of oil. Now it's apart who wants to come over and put it back together again? ;)

I've had a couple of mine apart and I wish I could just send it out and when comes back it would all work like new.

If you can get someone to put it back together for you, send them over here to put this Ford/New Holland TC29D back together for me! LOL

I did Alan! Fortunately I didn't have to use pictures much. Not a lot of time elapsed between tear down and reassembly so I remembered. I did code all the hydraulic lines. A word to those that might own one of these things and don't have an owners manual, USE THE CLUTCH TO ENGAGE/DISENGAGE PTO. This problem started with a PTO that wouldn't stay engaged. The pic shows the rear counter shaft with the teeth mangled, the PTO slider with teeth mangled, the midmount PTO driven gear with teeth missing. It's as if the midmount PTO driver was suspended in air and the tractor was built around it.

I'll let you all in on my secret. I wouldn't want to tackle this job with out these books. Actually the M670 service manual has the tel-o-flo information. Really miss input from my dad and uncle who went to MM dealer service training when those lifts were new.
