so I have rescued a pair of g707 lp tractors.... both show to be wheatlands with no pto.. my question is there any other model that the pto will interchange with these tractors..

The PTO will interchange but not the connecting shaft. I
believe the shaft is 12 spline on the end that connects to the
shaft coming out of transmission and all the rest of the tractors
have 6 splines. At least it is that way on mine.

any idea where I could find a pto assembly for this tractor??

no, I have been looking for the last couple of years for one with no luck. I am thinking of heading to the machine shop to have one made.

Late '65 G705/706 and G707/708 I think are the
only ones that fit. I have a late '65 G706 that
had one when I bought it, and the a$$ I bought it
from stole it before I picked up the tractor.
Would like to find one someday.
