I'm sure that several have seen my posts over on the combine forum or on facebook but I thought I would throw up a couple pics over here. This past weekend I purchased a 570 combine, a uni baler, and a UTSD that is tore completely apart. For the full story on the combine jump over to the combine forum.

Wow. Very nice find. The seat on the combine looks to be the same style as the 5 Star. From what I understand the seat cushion on those have springs in them since there is no suspension on them. You can get a seat cushion with the springs from someone that sells JD cushions as they used the same style seat. I believe arm rests are available for them as well. Im betting there are only a handful of those combines left. Glad you saved it.
 
Didn't the Customatic run a Continental motor. Too bad you weren't closer. I wrecked a UTSD and have most parts to rebuild.
 
They did use a 226 CI Continental.

The story on the UTSD is they were using it, spun a bearing, they tore it down, had the crank ground, and never put it back together. They have almost all of the parts to put it back together so we will see what all I need when I get it home.
