Where would I find a good sounding and good quality muffler for an rtu?

If you find a good one let me know. I haven't been too happy with the Stanley mufflers the last few years. I had bought one in the mid 80s for my ZA and it was a decent one. The last one dad bought for his ZA in the early to mid 90s was shorter and muffles nothing. I have to wear ear plugs whenever I use the tractor.

The last several mufflers that I have bought would not quite fit the hood opening. On one hood , I recut the hood opening about 1" to the rear. No problem , as it is a "user" RTU.
I extended the inlet pipe on another as I didn t want that hood cut. Fit fine then. clint
