I picked up this 335 industrial. The loader on it has been severely modified. It could be fixed with a lot of grinding and welding. It does run but the govenor doesn't work and the clutch sticks. It does not have a shuttle or ampli-torc. No PTO or hydraulics other than the rear mounted loader pump. There is no drawbar either. Should there be a counter weight on the back of it? The loader says made for Minneapolis Moline by superior manufacturing company or something along those lines. The tractor serial number is 10401973. The model says A1P. I am looking for any information about this package. Is it something that should be saved or should it become a parts tractor? It is rough.

Interesting to see what looks like RTI front rims and centers. Can not see the axle good enuff to tell if it is a RTI axle. Without power steering , it would be nasty to steer. That mite be the deciding factor to keep it or parts it. clint

In my opinion,

All MMs in running condition are worth saving. If you don't want it, probably someone else does.

The front axle and wheels look the same as those on my 335 industrial under my loader/backhoe. Do your rear wheel centers bolt to the axle with 6 or 12 bolts?

The tractor does not have power steering. Yes I think the front axle is very similar to an R. Front cast wheels have RT part numbers on them. The rear wheels are 6 bolt. Thanks guys. Any idea what it was built for? I was told by someone that it is a special package for the state of Minnesota and they only made 50. Any truth to this?

I don't know how many were made but I do remember seeing an orange 335 sitting at construction place in a town near me. That was about 20 years ago. Not sure if it ran or not but was interesting seeing an orange one.

Thanks for the year look up. I haven't had a chance to do that yet. This tractor definitely was orange then painted over in yellow. I haven't looked super close at the paint, but I think orange was its original color scheme.

I have a state of Mississippi road tractor 335 and
it lacks many of the luxuries that yours does. Ino
my opinion front axle has likely been replaced.

There was one on Craigslist by Minneapolis for $875 which I
thought was a descent deal, it ran, needed hydraulic work it
said, good luck on your project.

I looked at this tractor, prior to you buying it.i have one just like yours ,except mine has the cast counter weight on it.if ,you look there is the brackets on the axle ,where the counter weight was.i believe the state of Minnesota wanted a bunch of 335 industrials, and mm was running the utilities at that time and just put industrial axles under bunch of the utilities and sent them out.if you would want to check mine out as a comparision ,let me know

Ron, I may have to take you up on that some time when it gets warm out. Your theory about how they were made definitely makes sense. 1355, yes this is that one off craigslist. It needs a lot more than hydraulic work.

i got one setting in shed for sale anybody
interested. looks good no loader, was a new lawn
mower tradein. always been shedded
