It's done. Thanks for the advice. My seal was shot. The pin in the drive shaft was sheared and the threads in the impeller were shot. I had to remove the radiator to work on it. Had to destroy the impeller to get it off. Obtained a used impeller from e-bay, new pin and gaskets from Welter's and all is well! Thanks again.

Ah, the impeller came from you! I bought another just to have. I have 2 U's and thought I'd better have one "in stock". I can see where if one didn't get the radiator out of the way and/or didn't have a manual, he might turn it the wrong way and damage the brass threads. Thanks again Jeff.
