White 2-135 mfwa

Saw an ad for a White 2-135 with front wheel assist. Appears to be the first series from the look of it. Wondering if anyone has had experience with one and what to look for if we decide check it out. No real info in the ad other than it runs good. Had a tough looking Schwartz loader on it. Tough to estimate its condition from the pictures in the ad. They were asking $15,000 for it. Thanks for any info - Bruce.

My Uncle had an early 2-135 2wd. It was a very good reliable tractor. My Grandpa always said it was one of his favorite tractors to drive. I plowed a lot with it, and liked it too.

How was the steering on it? My cousins 2-135 wanders a lot when driving down the road, don't notice it as much in the field. A lot of power in front of you on those.

Our 2-155 was the same way, we put on new tie rod ends and it made a world of difference, it used to be like herding horses now its like a Cadillac lol.

hercules makes good power very smooth,check out the over/under hydraul-shift if it slips or acts funny in any range they can be pricy to work on.
