602 Hydraulic Control

It looks like it is easier to simply remove the entire hydraulic valve assembly and replace it with a donor than trying to rebuild and time the valves.

That being said the donor has an extra lever. Is the extra lever useful? What does it do? It is currently all the way forward and wired down......

Im assuming you have the tel-o-flo system? I have a couple that I need to rebuild myself. Do you have a picture of the extra lever? Is it a later system with depth control? They usually just had the outside one for the 3 point and the two inner ones for the two remote cylinder outlets. The only problem with getting another valve from another tractor is it might be in the same condition as what you have unless you know it is good. Most of the ones Ive seen are out of adjustment somehow.

Yes it is a later one. My son says it is a depth control. Not sure how it works, or if it is worth messing with. With the whole Teloflow off I Can go tnrough it on the bench, (another winter project). I have enough tractors, at least one will need it sooner or later....
