M602 Trans Torqeue Amplifier

How loud should the transmission whine and should the Torque Amplifier make a bit more noise in low range? This is a M602 with 3200 hours on the tach.

They do whine a lot. My M670 Super does that as well, as some with my G950. I don't believe they all whine the same either, some will more than others for some reason. My M5 doesn't whine as much as the 670.

Kinda seems like most of ours "whine" more in high range rather then in low. Never had one come apart yet for reasons other than shearing the high side drive discs. I just got done hauling wagons this fall with the G900 and M670 super. Lean into the wind and wind them up, they make all sorts of noises. Seems normal to me. The g900 with 38's on it will sure fly in 5th high, I can shift it from 4th to 5th without stopping I run 4th high going down hills loaded and clutch it and get 5th high and stand into it going up hill!!

Not to hijack the thread, but my 900 has to be very near if not over 20 mph. My 670 with 34's is probable 16-17 max, and the 670 with 38-s will cook the 302 with 38's. My 900 will leave them all, maybe I'll clock it this weekend, but the 900 will move!!

20 is pretty good for a tractor, my 1355 was about 18 before I
put on 42" rubber now it will go 21-22ish
