Finally gotta plow for first time with the 1355 , pulled it 3rd over with ease was very impressed because my 2-155 white I usually went 3rd direct because 3rd over would work it a bit more than I like. Had plenty of weight and power good power down low, was cold only 33 today gonna try and finish tomorow. Did a little field cultivating also the other day with it.
Only thing I wish I woulda done is left my muffler on it as its very noisy under a load I thought it was bad before but working it makes it alot louder.

Awesome pictures. You know if you would have had a MM implement hooked behind it, those pictures would have looked like they used to in the literature. Thanks for posting. Been waiting for your pictures. Looks like a lot of fun.

I've been looking for the 5 bottom mm rollover plow like in brochure just can't find one like in the brochure do you now of any, don't wanna travel a very long distance either. We have two 720 ih plows which have been good plows for us

Unfortunately I don't. I think Ive only seen one later MM rollover plow and that was a 4 bottom on like a G900. That would be an awesome find. If I ever do spot one I will let you know. I think IH sold a lot of those plows.

If that is a White built plow Good Luck. We sold some 4 bottom plows (roll over ) and they were all a Cat 2 3 point would handle including some competitive brand tractors. I think they also offered a Towner built roll over plow for a short period of time.

We have a G1350 turbo'd, factory altitude compensator, with duels that we use from time to time to plow with 6-18 on land trailing plow. It'll pull it in 2nd, but the water temp climbs steadly so you end up dropping a gear to keep the water temps under control.

Mine runs just a hair under 160 all the time never seems to go
past that, I'm pulling 5-20s do you have any picturs I'd like to
have a g1350 someday. I have one more day left to plow with
the 1355 just hoping it all hangs together. One thing I don't like
for getting all leaks fixed last winter I got a couple leaks back,
oh well I guess

Hi G1355, that's a nice looking tractor thanks for posting nice photos.

Hey G1355, you did a great job on your tractor but it is hard to stop a tractor from leaking especially if you use it. It's a tractor and sometimes that's part of it. You re-fix those leaks and I promise another will pop up. It is super nice thanks for photos.

Some where in MN?? Looks like a nice plowing job. Hate to think how many years it's been since I last plowed for my dad as a teenager in ND.

That was using a P & O 3-14 plow behind a W-30 McCormick Deering.

North central Iowa, about 12 miles from mn border, heavy black dirt, some clay hills

The farmer i worked for had a G950 . I loved that thing. The 2-155 was ok too. Got tired of the door latch brackets getting wore and letting the pop open or rattle. But loved the sound of the 950 throttling up!=)There was one advertised in indiana some months back but as usually no $ lol. we pulled a DMI then a white 5 bottom. What i would have loved to to have took pics of my neighbor with his zb working.Too old to soon toowise too late. Beautiful pics though. I got the worst clay soil type in the area where my farm is.

3rd over is 5.4 mph and 3rd direct is 4.5 and I used 4 under a
little which is 5.0 that's at 2200 rpms, I plowed at 1700-1800
and my speedometer usually read around that 4.5ish range
which I didn't feel was terrible.

Well I think its pretty respectable, thanks for the reply G1355, at that speed your turning over some ground.

OK using my Hart Parr owners manual per their rate of work formulas I figure you can plow about 4.5 to 5 acres per hour is that close?

Yeah probebly if I'd stay plowing for the whole hour, alot of
people stop by and watch and wanna talk when they see
something older and restored out in the field, and I'm beside
the highway, there was alot that would pull in on the end rows
and tell me I was doing a good job and how they like guys who
use the old stuff still. If I'd plow for a full hour it'd be pretty close I'm betting, but I did probebly as much talking on the end rows lol.

Well I can understand that its a darn nice looking outfit, if I were closer to you I'd probably swing by for a look see also.
