MM BG Grills

My dad and I are finishing up a BG. We could not find a replacement grill so we made a tool to form them. They came out great. They are just like the original except that the grill hole pattern runs diagonal instead of straight across. We had to order a complete sheet of the preferated metal so we have 4 or 5 extra to sell. They will fit a BG, BF, or Avery R. They are primed. Just trying to recover some of the cost. I'll post back with a close up.

I'ld like to see one. Southern fella was making them last year, but $100 or more. Can't pay that, how much for yours? Do they have the extra metal on bottom to hold shape? I'm just guessing on that, as mine was gone when I got tractor, but seems something more than the corrugation must shape it? Mount it too?

Sorry to say that these are $100 also. Sounds like a lot but they were very expensive to make. We had to order a 4'x8' sheet of metal at $150 and $400 in the forming tooling.

The grill ends slide behind the side panels into a groove. There are three screws on each end that hold it in place. The sheet metal lip above and below hold the grill in shape. There is a top and bottom screw in the center of the grill as well. The grill itself is just the corregated metal. We used an undamaged part of the original grill as the pattern and it fit very well into the existing sheet metal.

I called my dad in NC to have someone take the pictures. The tractor is in NC and I am in VA. Hope to have them this afternoon.
