Just curious.....does anyone have or ever seen in person a 25 ft or larger Minneapolis Moline disk?
We have both a Oliver(green)271 25 ft and a White(red)272 34 ft that we run every fall.....fantastic heavy disks that were way ahead of their time!
I have sales literature on all 3 brands w pictures of them all but would like to see or atleast get real in the flesh pictures of the Minneapolis version! Thanks

Could you post pictures of the MM literature you have? Ive seen pictures in the Oliver full line catalogs from 1973-74 of a red disk with white wheels hooked on a G1355, that is all Ive ever seen.

I've seen the one in the brochure behind the g1355, have you
guys ever seen the big 10 or 12 bottom white plow like in the
brochure behind the 4-270 I'd like to have one.

I'm not to sure how to post pictures on this site but I'm willing to text ya a few pictures off my cellphone of the brochures if you have the capabilities to get pictures on your cellphone if you have one.

I've never seen the literature with the 10 or 12 bottom plow.....white never had a tractor big enough to pull something that big.....if they were thinking a 4-270 would get it done they were dreaming......maybe in sandy soil and running 6" deep!?

The 4-270 could be 350hp pretty easily a guy used to have
one around here and pulled a 7 shank dmi ripper and
moved right along and wasnt scratxhing the ground either.
We have two seven shanks john deere 2700s and use a
9400t john deere and a 435 case which has 585hp with
chip and injectors and pull them easily we pulled a 10
bottom with our 4900 massey ten years ago and we have
heavy black soil. A 4-270 would pull it just not set any speed records

Found a couple pictures these are both 10 bottoms ones from
brochure.

i have a 9 btm pipe plow, plan on pulling it behind my 2655 with hd800 motor, must be ideal conditions i think tho, have the ability to take off 1 or 2 bottoms if need be

I remember the brochure photo. That seemed like a good idea to have it "flex" in the middle the way they were built. Looks like quite a beast in the bottom photo.
