Look for the tractor serial number plate on the side of the transmission. I think it may be behind the brake pedals. It will give you the model and S/N that can be used to find the year built. Not much info is available on the engine s/n plate on the side of the engine other than engine size but all Us were 283s.

UTI is missing hood side as usual. Rear rims were usually rotten from calcium. Depending on size some are tough to find. Basic tractor is same as any U model. Just has heavy front end and foot clutch.

If its a UTIL with shuttle they made over 1600. Don't see too many anymore though. Worth saving from scrap for sure.
