670 Clutch and Torque

After harvest my 670 is getting a new clutch. I have
noticed the low side of the torque 'dropping out' on
occasion. While she is open what should I be
looking for to repair/replace?

I think that is usually from the sprag clutch. Not sure what is or isn't available any more on them. Make sure to check all of the cotter pins. I believe the seal on the torque cover might be a good idea to replace. From what I have been told have it in high range if your remove the front cover to replace the seal.

An additional bit of advice would be to be certian to block or tie the torque lever in the forward position before removing the cover. That will keep the TA assembly together until you are ready to remove it.

I talked with my Moline parts guru a few weeks ago about this very topic. When he looked the parts up, his first comment was "holy moly"....All the parts are available... $1,100 or so just for the sprag clutches.

Ive always heard the later M series (M670 Supers) were more expensive than the earlier ones like the 5 Stars or M5s. What do you do...if you want it to work. At least its available, not much comfort lol but...
