Nice find I've seen Oliver's but no MM choppers, never knew they ran 440s always thought it was mopars 318, but the 440 should have good power but prolly gets a little thirsty I'm betting.

318s were in the combines, choppers ran 478 Herc diesel (early were same as 2050 later were same as 2150), 478 GMC v-6 gas, and 440 v-8 Chrysler gas.

nice looking unit, first moline I've seen. looks like someone made their own exhaust, probly go deaf even sitting in the cab. I bought an Oliver 840 this spring with 478 GMC V-6, gettin really antys waiting for it to be delivered.

Didnt know that now I want one, if you put MM and mopar together they probebly had a great machine as I like both.

Very nice find. not many in yellow paint, some of the MM's were sumac red like the White & Cockshutt. I wonder how many of each color? I hope you are saving it, not scrapping. I seem to recall 4 different engine options in them.

Hey, just curious do you still have your 1840 chopper? If so is it running and which motor is in it? I am very curious. My number is 563-599-0954. where are you from?
