Two friends of mine found this for me Saturday hauled it home yesterday. Number 2 of 10 according my ser. number book.
 
Wow! Thats awesome. Glad to hear one has survived. I have seen an 1830 pull type and an oliver 830 and 840. Cant wait to see a pic. Is it yellow or red?

I found a couple of the 1830 pull types a few years ago. Wanted to buy them as they were just sitting out in the guys yard. He wouldn't give me a price. I stopped there a few times. Later when I went by his place they were gone....scrap Im guessing. I wasn't happy.
 
thats a real shame if they got scrapped, one thing that irratates me with old equiptment is when people are trying to sell something and they put $600 or its going to scrap. ok? so sell it for scrap price then not double.

I agree. If you give them what they would get for scrap or a little more, that is all they were going to get anyway...but they cant sell it for "just scrap price"
