I have a GVI diesel oil pump in my HD 800 and I am NOT getting any oil pressure just put the motor together any clue?

Going to have to know what all you did to it first. Could be a number of things.

That older oil pump has a different discharge height than the newer ones. The opening does not line up with the oil galley,thus no oil pressure. Also,that old pump has no pressure regulation in it.

thanks for the help that's what my problem is what pump can I use with the gvi oil pan.thanks
