how hart to ad pto to a moline r

I was wanting to know hard it would be to add a pto to a Moline R. I would need the hole assembly and shaft. right know it just has a cover over the pto

drain rear end, remove cover, install shaft, install pto, fill rear end

Hate to disagree with the above poster about installing a R pto. What he said will work with a Z, U or G tractor, but not an R .
There is a bearing and nut in the frt of the tranny housing that needs to go in and hold the frt. end of the frt. shaft. You can get to the brg from the clutch door if I rember rite. Then there is the shifter to deal with too.It is not a hard job tho. Best to get a manual. HTH, clint
