MM Radiator Color?

I am restoring my 1952 MM ZAU and had to put a new radiator in it. I was wondering what color they came in originally?

Im guessing a black core although I don't doubt some might have been a different color. I thought I had heard one time that radiator shops use a special paint that happens to be black, but it doesn't hold heat like regular paint does.

As Alan said... My little old radiator guy told me to only paint cores with chassis black as other paints hold the heat.

I like to paint mine black also. Radiators I have seen on original tractors were not painted at all. Just the galvanized color with MM paint overspray.
