MM 445 Hydralic Leak

I have a 1959 MM 445, front bucket loader tractor. The bucket is very slow in going up. I had new hydralic punp seals installed 5 years ago and it seemed all was good for about 3 months, and then the same problem reoccurred. The thing leas hydralic fluid so I just keep topping it up. But the hydralics are still slow. Its too exspensive to replace the pump as its deep down at the rear midline of the tractor. Too much of a labor cost, as I dont have the know how to fix it myself. The hoses are in fair condition, a bit wet, but not severe. Am I missing something in what is causing the leak? What is the max hydralic fluid amount to fill this old tractor. Thanks.
