Hank, 460 prefix for that serial number shows it is 800 engine for 1350 and A4T tractors.

Doug how hAve you been? This engine is 460 prefix but number 2004. I don't think there is anyway they built 2004 small bell 800s. There shows to be a serial break between 29 and 30 no others mentioned in my book.. I have numbers 90,109,and110 but this 2004 doesn't seem right.

I have been good. Very busy due to late spring. Very dry now. Those numbers don't make much sense.

Maybe it is a typo on the tag and is actually 204??

When the built engines for the 1355 or 955 the used the old prefixes but started at 2000. So if this number hold true to that it world have been the 4th one built!

Freddy, that makes sence. I've never seen a 1355 with an 800 but I'm guessing that is what this engine was to be used in. That would explain the Charles city tag.
