Can I take the pto clutch and power release off of my UB and use it that way or will this affect the brakes and the shaft going through it? Thanks Ryan

I used grade 5 5/16 bolts on mine

I finely found time to tear into it. The way I'm looking at your picture and the way it came apart you still have to use the clutch discs so you can use the splines on them. And if so would it be possible to just weld the back plate and the middle gear together? Cause it sure looks like a lot of drilling and seems like I would be achieving the same thing with out all the drilling. But I may be over or under thinking this process.

It's been over 5 years since I did mine, so don't remember a lot of the details. I do know that if I could drill the holes it could not be classified a difficult job!

I'm thinking that some of those parts are cast iron so I don't know about welding

Thanks again for the help. I just ended up bolting it together with 6 grade 5 3/8 bolts. Thanks again Ryan
