Here are some spring MM pictures of my MM's working in the field. Well maybe taking a break in some!

Those are some nice looking tractors. There is just something about using them in the field isn't there?

There sure is Alan, except that's how I farm, no bigger tractors! In debate if I'm going to search for a bigger tractor or combine. Thee is no way I can afford both, and I want to pay with cash. That 19' disc is a load for the 900 especially on moldboard plowed ground (it won't really pull it)

Scout, take a look at the post I had earlier, the steering wasn't getting at hot as it felt, any it'll probably run cooler because something under the fuel tank leaks p/s fluid like mad. The hydraulics are better, buy they leak from about every place there is an o-ring, connection or pretty much any place fluid travels. So I've got to degrease the entire machine and start looking for and repairing leaks.

You could possibly see if you find a retired farmer with older machinery or someone that has some older equipment that they don't use anymore to find a slightly smaller disc for plowed ground and maybe a combine. I buy most of my machinery that way. Just driving around, spotted something somewhere, stopped and asked and then asked if they had other equipment. I know it is a lot harder to pull anything in plowed fields.

Alan, I've got two smaller discs! I pulled this one with the wings up the first time over this year. I'm talking a 20,000 dollar combine we have 3 smaller ones (New Idea Uni's)

Use duals on plowed ground, need increased floatation. If still too tough to pull, you are disking too deep, no need to bury it up to the spools.

(quoted from post at 02:18:07 06/05/14) Nice tractors, thanks for posting. Now you need a 5297 Moline combine to go with them.

Haha how about a Case IH 1440, 1640 or JD 7720?? That's more what I'm looking for.

The 900 needs duals yes, but it's also a tired machine. I runs good but I think with duals it'll run out of power with the big disc. There is a good chance it'll turn into a G1000 this summer.

My cousins have a 1460. They bought a newer CASE-IH and decided to keep the 1460 for the small grain as it wasn't worth much for trade in. They are a decent machine from what I know.
