Memorial Parade

Our town has a large Memorial weekend event. Yesterday was the parade. Our local antique tractor club faded away a few years ago, so I don"t have much chance to play with my "46 RTU. It was fun to enter it in the parade. My son made the trailer for me. I had my own little tractor drive with the 11 miles into town, the parade, then 11 miles home. A little hard to start at first--we think the gas was the problem, though it had stabilizer in it. But after we got going the tractor going, it started up every time perfectly all day. It did all those tires good to have to rolling time, too.

Well, my dog wasn't much of a load. The trailer would have traveled better with a heavier load. Guess I needed a load of hay bales and candy-throwing children.
I was following a '51 U. There was an Allis also, and a couple of JD pulling floats. We used to have a dozen vintage tractors in the parade, and they made a nice noise all together!
