Wide Front end Frozen

Brought home an M-5 that has been sitting too long. The wide front end is frozen HARD. I have tried (and failed) at this project before.....anyone have suggestions? Thanks! Marty

My M670 Super was that way. Took a week, some heat, and a sledge hammer "tapping" on the tire, first the front then the back. And a trip or two to the chiropractor.

Lucas, Did you take the tie rods off? I had the same problem on my big mo 400M I took and pulled the tie rods off each side and worked it that way. One wheel at a time instead of trying to break both free at once. I got them to come free that way with heat grease and some harsh language.

Glad you mentioned that Kevin. I was going to before but I was typing with one hand and eating with the other lol. I do usually pump mine full of grease to keep the moisture out so they don't rust up again. Maybe Im not using them enough lol.

I keep my current herd well lubed and moderately exercised. It is these 'new' ones that have the issue. I have about 25 pounds of stored up harsh language I have been saving for just such a project......

I have a tractor that the front end vas stuck, I removed all the clamps and drove it around till I could see some movement, then put clamps back on as not to do damage. Lubed it up good, and gave it time to wyrk loose.
If yo ain"t in a hurry to get it loose, this saves a lot of beating and cussing.

Well I don't know Alan. I seen a picture you posted once of your M5 with a loader and the time you posted it was sometime last Mid June and the picture sure had a lot of snow on the ground yet so I am thinking your using them enough! LOL :)

Yes, Im still scooping yet..........JUST KIDDING!! lol! ;)
