Carb part needed

Hello all.

My cousin has an MM 445 that he is rebuilding the carburetor on. The power jet is broke and he is looking for one. I have tried through AGCO and several NOS parts warehouses with no luck.

Anybody have a good used one? Part number 10P769.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would have to do some looking but Im betting another brand of tractor, Case, Oliver etc, used the same jet. Most of the carbs Ive seen the main difference in them is location of the throttle linkage, left or right side. A repair kit for the carb might include the jet as well.
 
Thanks Alan. Ive looked through my carb parts stash(Mostly for A-Cs) and the ones I had were all different thread sizes.

go to external_link.com and Charlie will fix you up and you wont have to do a bunch of searching and will get the parts you need!

The power jet for a TSX-797 carb is part number #49-364, on Marvel-Schebler's part numbering system. Using the OEM part number allows most shops to zero in on the needed item a lot faster

I suggest you call Matt at Motec Engineering. His number is 765-963-6628. Apparently he has a huge pile of scrounge to wade through.

When I normally destroy one of those pesky carb parts, with my ten thumbs, I have to fire up the lathe and start whittling on a piece of 360 brass, to make a new one. Not a pretty sight. Best call around and save yourself some misery.
