Plow size?

I know I am opening a can of worms here, but does anyone have an idea how much plow a g1355 will handle in clay/sod 6 18 ?

We pull 5-20s with our 2-155 white in heavy black ground and its a load usually 3rd direct or under, hope my g1355 will pull one of our other 5-20s for plow days I'm thinking it will.

I pull 8 - 16 's with 2270 in our soil usually in 3rd over.

I'm betting you have some pretty light ground, 8 bottoms around here are getting pulled with 275hp plus 4wds

Our soil is medium/dark. Three feet of top soil in most locations. Normally only plough 4-5 inches max. We used to pull 3-14's with U gas. Remember our land is quite flat.

5-18 is a good load for us around here in dark black stuff. But we are going 8-10" deep too, we could probably pull 8 if we were going 4-5" as well. Never heard of going that shallow around here!

Then I could probebly believe it, we probebly go around that 8 inches deep, don't know where you are but I'm in north central Iowa, i believe the u with 3-14s you could do that around here, our 70 John Deere gas pulls 3-16s pretty easy. Our land here in Iowa is pretty flat few hills.
