MY NEPHEW BROUGHT HIS U302 INTO SCHOOL REBUILT THE MOTOR IT RUNS GOOD JUST DOESNT THROTTLE UP RIGHT AND WE TOOK THE SIDE PANEL OF THE GOVERNOR FORK IS HITTING THE ROD THAT GOES UP TO THE DISTRIBUTOR ANYBODY HAVE A PICTURE OF HOW THE GOVERNOR GOES IN THAT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

The governor linkage is very touchy on those. Are you able to compare it to another working tractor? An owner's book might detail the correct adjustment. The governor is actually located on the front end of the crank. Chances are it got out of adjustment when it was removed or put back on wrong.

Are you saying the governor fork inside the crankcase is hitting the distribuitor shaft?

If it is, my guess is that the fork is backwards on it's shaft.
