Weight of oil In Jet star 3

I'm wondering what weight of oil to run in my jet star 3, I'm running 15w40 oil now and am wondering if it is proper. Thank you and happy Easter Cole

ok i have about 15 to 20 but its a original gauge and im not sure how accurate it is

The oil pressure is adjustable, you may want to see if you can crank it up just a bit.

Is this an earlier Jet Star? Does it have a manual or electric gauge? Check pressure with a good gauge after changing the oil and making sure it has the correct filter on it. Curt is right there is an adjustment on the side of the pump, loosen the jam nut and turn the screw. I'd probably like to see it around 20 psi at idle and 35 ish at wide open.
