Hi, new to this forum and have never had a Minneapolis Moline. What should I look for on this tractor? Has been sitting for 15yrs? What are they worth? How hard are parts ro find? Thanks

I would grab that one. It has the dual pto. Looks to be a 1968-early 1969 model. I have a 1966 model and love it. Power steering and torque are two things to look at but cant really tell until it is runnable. Both of those things can be fixed. Most parts are available. Good running ones usually run around $4,000-6,000. Is it stuck or does it turn over?

Couldn't find owner so didn't what to spend to much time there. Trying to contact owner but he lives about3.5 hours away, I am hoping its for sale

I would by it before the scrap man does -- offer him just a tad over scrap price -- the tires are worth it .good luck and have fun . To me the fun lies in the Thrill of the Chase

I agree that there is a fair amount of value in the tires and dual speed Pto, but I would guess this tractor was parked because something broke that was expensive to fix (don't want you to think that you are going to put fresh gas and a battery in and have a field worthy tractor). I would bet on at least one cracked head and the gas heads are getting tough to find. Seems like someone switched the dash out...notice the clutch switch and oil pressure sensor (to idiot light) but it has a full set of gauges...maybe I'm confused. All that being said...the M670 is one of MM's best tractors, so it would be great if someone could save it.

Looks like a mid 1968 to me, has the (last) newer style seat, but open center hyd. That oil pressure switch is correct for a gauge to be used. From 66 to 69 they used an electric oil pressure gauge and from 69 to 70 they used a light. ....Where is it located at, I'm just asking because there is snow on the ground!! I wouldn't pay a penny more than $1250, $1000 is more what I'm thinking.

Two quick comments. Dash looks just like the one on my U-302 Super (white face gauges) and the spot on the upper left corner is the hole where the cigarette lighter goes (not an idiot light). Hard to make out clearly but it looks like the heads are different shades of yellow like one has been changed at some time.

Thanks joe pro. Can't seem to keep those subtle changes straight. I agree on your pricing...considering the unknown.

I paid $600 for a diesel with a busted crankcase with a connecting rod out the side. But there is lots of usable parts if you have other MM's

Central new york state. Locals say it was parked about 15 years ago with no problems, owner passed, went to probate etc new owner never touched ir and lives in nyc we think, tring to track him down

Hope you can get it. Would be neat looking all fixed up. Sometimes owners just park a tractor because its "tired" or they think it is and buy another one figuring it will be cheaper. A person never thinks you would find a 3020 or 4020 JD parked somewhere...
