I was wondering if anybody had suggestions on a good intake and exhaust manifold combo for a 436cid U puller? I have heard of people using Peterson manifolds but cant find any info

(quoted from post at 18:56:39 03/15/14) the 2 piece is the one we use. didnt know the 670 had a one piece
id you buy new or used? The last new ones I had seen were one piece

Stay away from a one piece
manifold on a puller.
Heat exchange from exhaust
can cause vapor lock.
Personal experience. No
more problems after going
to a split manifold.

Do you have a picture of the two piece set up in putting together a UB and mine came with a two piece set up and was wondering if that is what I have. All I'm finding for examples is a one piece setup thanks.

the intake would look like a Y and the exhaust would be square on the ends and get wider in the middle. not sure how to put a picture on here

go to YT photo ads and type in exhaust manifolds. cody adgent in tn has some listed for sale.the red and yellow at bottom of pic are the lp 670 intakes and the 2 middle exhaust are the 670 ones.

This is the setup that I have. I'm new to this whole MM thing and I'm trying to learn all I can.

The set up shown by rmf1066 is an earlier LP setup. Widely used; functional; The later "Y" style has a bit better air flow.

If I wanted to put the "y" style intake on would I also need to change my exhaust to a diffrent manifold or do they interchange as well. How much improvement would I see if I changed to the "Y" style. Thanks.
