What you posted is the engine serial number. There should be another plate like that on the side of the transmission that will give the model and serial number for the tractor. Based on the picture it appears to be a GTB though.

Looks like it"s all still original and ready for rescue.Amazes me
you can still find tractors like that sitting out waiting on
someone to bring it back to life. What state is it located in?

It's in North Texas. It has not been running since the 80's. I was parked due to what I remember being a crack cylinder.

Agree its a late GTB motor. Not sure fenders look right. Mine go over top of tires. But agree GTB of maybe GB which also used 403C4 but with replacement block. So what is the rest of the story - are you planning to restore it or sell it or just curious.

I'd love to see this tractor run again. This land has not had anything happening on it since the late 80's. We are now hunting on the property and really need a tractor. We'd love it if this were the one. It's been in our family as long as I can remember (and I'm 45). It's one of those deal though.... Is it really worth it to fix it ??? I know that it will have to have at least one rear tire (as it is missing).Would love to see it run again ... as it's getting time to mow, plow and plant for the hunting seasons ... but right now, a working tractor is what we need ... Love to hear your thought and comments

Yes or contact me before it is scrapped. I am out near Abilene. You would only need to replace one block to fix a cracked cylinder.
