M670 loader

I bought a (used) WL-42 Westendorf loader to put on my 670. Since I didn't buy it new from Westendorf, they are unwilling to give me any mounting instructions. So I thought, maybe someone on here has a set up like this, and maybe they could help me out??? Any help (words, pictures, dimensions) would be great. Thanks!

Go to a Westendorf dealer and they should be able to order a mounting kit from them for your tractor. My son bought a westendorf that was mounted on a White American to put on his Oliver 1750 and dealer ordered mounting brackets for his 1750.

We were set up to put a westendorf loader on a G1000 row crop. Some jacka** stold the brackets for scrap iron. So we need to find a new sub-frame. Email me if you get any leads on finding brackets.

Does it look anything like this one? This is a Westendorf WL-30 which I think is the same ventage as the WL-42(1970's) and I have mounting instructions and put on a Minnie-Moline for a brief time(see previous posts) I modifyed the horns that go on the axle since the original ones were big bolts and flat bar and would of fit fine on an IH axle but not so good on the MM axle. I made flanges to match the MM flanges on the axle and it seemed pretty solid(have pictures)Let me know and I can post some more info? cleddy

I am going ahead and posting the instruction since finaly getting the scanner to work. Maybe they will be useful? Westendorf Company was not much help since they are pushing the new generation loader with the front mount. Those would nice if you can come up with the money. cleddy

Wow! That is some good info. Unfortunately my mounts are totally different. But hopefully someone else can benefit from your generous help.

Well, that is a little embarrassing but like you said maybe someone else will be interested. I kind of lost interest(In Westendorf) after finding out I bought such a old loader even if it was in good shape-reasonable and no factory support. At least you have one that is pretty up to date and there is info around if you can find it. You would think they would stand behind their products??cleddy

Sometimes you can find pictures of ones with them mounted on tractorhouse dot com website. I know that isn't a lot of help but it might be a place to at least see where they mount.
