Yoder and Frey

Well, I tried to get online to bid on a couple
items. I just now got access from sending a
request this morning before the auction started.
Pretty dang frustrated. Along with items being
pulled out of the auction, just seemed very poorly
run looking from the outside. Congrats to those
that got some 800's for a few hundred dollars it
seems. Looked like quite a few tractors went
cheap.

I am just ------. The tractor I did want, the UBD went for $200.00. $200!!!!!!!

Unreal that an auction company blew this sale this bad.

rp1555, I'm just really frustrated. I did my part. I couldn't take off from work to go to Florida for an auction on a Tuesday. I wanted to bid on the stuff and filled out their form. They just never approved me.

Sad thing is, some of the stuff might go to scrap based on some of the prices. Just really frustrating and needed to vent.

I just looked at the results on proxy bid,and mostly things sold ok.the dead row stuff was cheap.I know how you feel about the on line bidding,I pre bid on a tractor on polks auction for 3800 and it sold for 3200 ,I asked why and how.I said the heck with it. hey just think, they didn't get you for the 9% buyer fee !!!

Based on many of the prices, I would say the auction company did a poor job. I watched it some online. A UDLX brought $31,000 and the cab did not come with the tractor though it was on the tractor during the sale. They did not even have pictures of the UDLX online while it was selling. Wish I would have been at the auction with a semi and trailer. I would like a 1350, and a couple A4T's that were each around $2000. The UB special bringing $10,000 was a surprise.

What a joke. I spent better than an hour getting registered this morning. Hold on your credit card and the whole bit. The one tractor I wanted (brown jet orchard #173) they jumped ahead 50 lot numbers and sold it out of order. The speaker went out twice and by the time they got to the junk row stuff the speaker was out all together. Half way through the pictures on the live feed were of snowmobiles, dirt bikes, atvs and lawnmowers. You would have had to hope you were bidding on the right thing. The out of place tractor I wanted, I did manage to bid on, but the bid wasn"t taken and it sold cheaper than I would have give. I am still mad about that since I had a guy with a pickup and trailer ready. If you have a UDLX to sell, wouldn"t you at least know where the parts that go with it are!! I don"t know what scrap is worth in Florida but most of the back row stuff could have went right across the scale......

This auctioneer swindled the family selling the stuff, plain and simple. If they have brought in a reputable company, they would have doubled their money. I hope this is a lesson to anyone that was thinking about using these clowns.

can you post a link to see the completed prices, I can't seem to locate it through their website. Thanks

Not an estate sale. Should be able to go to realtime bid.com and find the results. Unless that doesn't work any better than the rest of their junk.....

I would love to help but I have no idea how to post a link. Maybe you had to be a registered bidder. If you had a couple specific things, I would gladly look and let you know. Jeff

Well I guess I know someone who is very happy he went down...with his semi. Might be upset that he doesn't have enough room.

I was participating in the proxibid auction format. The remaining tractors (that we're not sold prior to auction) were not being auctioned in order. I missed the bidding in a tractor due to it being auctioned early. It's a shame that such a large lot of prairie gold was sold in such a poor way. I think if that auction was held in the Midwest with a better auction house the results would have been entirely different. Frustrating.

Does anyone know what shape the 1350's were in and how much they brought? I got really really irritated with trying to log in and quit! What a &@!?ing joke

apparently you have to be registered. I was just curios as to what everything brought. Hopefully someone can print & share the results.

I have to ask, a UB Special brought $10,000? What about
that tractor caused it to go for so much? I have a UB Special
diesel that I'd sure like to sell for that much lol

I registered last nite, but found out today that it did not go thru. I fiddled around for 20 min today trying to get on Yoder & Fry s site but gave up. I called a ph # on there sale bill ,& got a very helpful lady. She was on the ph for about 45 min trying to get me registered , just to watch , not bid. She had to call the sale site for help. She finally got me hooked up , but no sound thru out the time I was on the site. Things really could of been much better.
Very poor for a " professional" auction company.

I watched the UB diesel sell for $200. I and probably a lot of others wanted to bid on it but many of us have the same problem. Pay $200 for the tractor and then pay $2000 to have it hauled home. It"s okay if you have your own truck and trailer but if it"s already full you"re not coming back for a $200 tractor. The tractor was in really rough shape but it was a UB diesel which even in rough shape is normally worth many multiples of $200. A lot of Moline folks were at the auction but the auctioneer just could pull anymore bids for the tractor. The low prices for the scrap/parts/rough tractors were more a function of location than fault of the auctioneers.

Guess I was wondering with Florida flywheelers going on there would have been more bidders there with MM feathered this year. I am here from N IL. plan on going Friday. Great weather here in Florida. PS didn't know about auction till today. DOUG

Sorry, this is the auctions fault. I tried to log in on their site but I didn't get approved until the auction was over.

AMEN BROTHER!! This had all the tell tail signs of this BS from the start. Oh I am so glad not to have gotten involved in this one. I think Ill just go outside to the barn and hug my 5 star. LOL

Here's some of what I remember from the prices (online).
G1350 $1700
A4T-1400 $1800
A4T-1600 $2200
Stuttgart 4wd $9100
UB special Gas $10,000
UDLX (cab to be removed) $31,000
G707 diesel $1500 and lp $2500
G704 $6000
M602 hi-crop $17,000
MF 98 10,400
U302 Diesel $4000

Thank you for posting prices. If that is the way they did it, that is the dumbest thing, to sell a UDLX, and then sell the cab. Its not like everyone has one of those tractors sitting around that they need a cab for. Sounds like a total bum deal on the whole auction.

I am not sure that the cab sold. They just announced that the cab did not come with the tractor, but they had blueprints to make another one. But how much for the blueprints to reproduce a cab that should have stayed with the tractor?

If I would of been there I would of owned that g1350 and the
a4t 1400 and 1600 for that price.

The toys went high, there were some pedal tractors that usually bring $300 for for $1600. So maybe they gained a little on that. I used proxibid and it was fine other than all the jumping around which was bad.

We would have been bidding against each other had we both been there LOL. I'm dying to get my hands on a G-1350 or G-1355 at a good price...

I would have wanted the 1350 pretty bad too. I am not quite as crazy about a 1355. We have a 2-150 White which is pretty similar.

Lol I just would like to find a g1350 since I have a g1355, I don't quiet have it restored yet, at the moment it is getting all oil leaks etc fixed, will post pictures when I get it painted.
