I am looking for a source or good crossover number ( i.e. Napa #) For the power steering pump on my G900.

The pump is a Vickers VTM 27-50-40-15-07-R1-12.
The MM # is 10A29298

I would be grateful for some help.

The early ones used the Saginaw pump which is the napa number you game me. The later ones used the Vickers pump Is the Vickers pump the one off the GM car or is that the Saginaw set up?

Just wondering what failed on your pump. I was sorting through my Oliver/MM bulletins and found they issued a service bulletin on those pump failures and they had to kit to help solve that problem. It said the problem was with the power steering pump drive.

I honestly don't know. I did not disassemble the pump. I would be interested in what that service bulletin had to say. It simply doesn't seem to produce enough pressure, it will turn the front wheels with the front end off the ground but when the front end is on the ground it is very hard to turn.

Joe, the Vickers pump is a vane pump. They can wear just like any other pump and are very receptive to reconditioning. We stock a complete VICKERS kit for those pumps. Dale and Doug, 920 295 3278, riverdalefarmshop.com
