Newman's sale

It would be an interesting sale to go to. I do hope a lot of them end up somewhere to be restored or atleast parts machines rather than iron.
 
I wonder why so many lots are "out of sale " ?
I know when we had our auctions the offers prior got pretty ridiculous. I figure if you advertised it then you should sell it...I think it reflects poorly on an auction company personally.
 
The "out of sale" items are just bs. If you advertise it, sell it. Quality doesn't look that good but there is a lot of odd/ rare stuff that is not available very often.......
 
Not good, if they are doing pre-sales. That'll hurt the whole sale. But having been an Auctioneer, yes, sometimes people call and make offers that are too hard for some to refuse.
 
I will not be attending the sale but my Grandpa and uncle will be there. I will be down on Thursday for the show though!
 
If someone wants to leave a starting bid, I am okay with that. That is a simple solution. Heck, they can even phone bid.
I am not okay with pulling items out of an auction. This reflects poorly on the auctioneer and the seller. If you advertise something as in the auction and then leave it in the auction. Off my soapbox now.
 
Jeff: I talked to you awhile back over the phone. I was able to get the G-1350 rear end from the tractor mechanic in Hondo Texas! Serial # 43300135. Clutch housing back. Open platform no instrument panel or steering support? Has both fenders. Has cast centers but no wheels? 38". He knew it had value! If you are still interested in it, let me know? Mike Tessman.

Hi Alan, I am doing exceptionally well ! just got back home from a Gator hunt just about an hour away from Newmans but they told us we should not come until about now. So we headed back to be one of the frozen chosen :-( bets its warm there in MN huh ?
 
Glad to hear you are doing well. Warm in MN? Well....its warm 'er" lol. Winter is getting old.
