Late G900 Heat Baffle

On my late G900, there was a crude looking "heat baffle" made out of some sort of fiberglass plastic. It seemed to protect the Motorola alternator. Is this factory, I didn't think it was but after looking online it seems another late diesel had one. The only listing in the parts book is one that mounts with one manifold on the back stud by the looks of it. This mounted on the front two studs. Any ideas?
 
Do you happen to have a picture of it? Am just curious what it looks like. I think Ive seen something like you are describing.
 
I can get a picture tomorrow, I was looking around on the internet, and looks like I saw two other tractors with it on it. ....I also saw a g 900 with a three speed Ampli Torq!!
 
Joe I had a parts 900 with one on it, didn't pay much attention to it because it was a parts tractor. I had a 900 with a 3 speed in it, kick myself everytime I think about it,Sure wished I kept it but sold it to a close friend who still has it but he don't ever sell anything but he says when he does get rid of it i will be able to get it back! I do have a 3 speed 900 trans and rear end still.
 
According to Page 8 of Supp B to the G900 Repair
catalog, there is a heat shield. One for diesel and
a separate for LP. Says it was used on Diesel
tractors 33101377 and after and LP tractors
33000551 and after. I would assume that all of the
special late G900 LP tractors would have it too.
