Working Moline, Got Snow?

The 4Star Super LP is getting quite a work out this year here in SW Michigan. Building mini-glaciers by the mailbox near the road.

Looks like your having fun Curt. Is the price of lp up there too? What size snowblower are you using? I can feel the snow down my neck allready.

Yes. I've gone through 1 main tank of fuel, that's about 24 gallons, and 2 motor fuel cylinders at about 8 gallons each - this year blowing snow. He's a little hard starting when temps get to the single digits but otherwise a trooper.

Yes it is up. I noticed on my last fill that it was up close to $4. Yes I get a little snow down my back from time to time. The blower is 6ft. I may find something else to blow with next year. I love the 4Star but it was built in the day when going backwards was something to get over with fast. He's generally a little too fast for that blower even with the TA back. Ideally one would have a hydro.

I wondered about one that size to put on my M5 but I agree, in high range it is a little fast and going forward and seeing what your doing with a loader ahead of you is easier on the neck.

The other thing is tractor height. The blower is built for a shorter tractor I think. When the blower is down, the drive line is more severe than intended. It'll do for this year but next year I may do something different, lower and slower.
